Pancake Breakfast May 4th, 2014.  8:30 AM until 12:30 PM

April 19, 2014 from 10 am until 3 pm there will be a fundraiser for Big
Paws Canine Foundation. As many of you know, this is the group that
trains and donates Service Dogs to disabled Veterans and are working on a
completely voluntary basis, operating solely on funds raised by events
like this one and donations from the public.

There will be an aluminum can drive and a paper shredding drive.
You can donate your cans as well as having any sensitive or other
documents and paper shredded securely on site at the American Legion due
to the generous donation of the shred truck and employee from Novak
Sanitation and Dakota Data Shred. Bags of paper(such as Hy-Vee grocery
bags) weighing up to 20 lbs and boxes of paper (like banker's boxes)
weighing will be shredded securely for $5 and $10 respectively. Higher
volumes will be priced at $10 for every 50 lbs.

Lincoln HS J ROTC will be on hand to assist people with a drive up service
... removing cans and or paper from vehicles for anyone wishing.

Funds raised go toward training, housing, food, vetting and equipment
needed to train the dogs that will assist our disabled Veterans.

From 10:30 until 12:00 PM there will be a Easter Egg Hunt for ages Toddler to 10 yrs old.

For children over 10 yrs old we will have crafts inside to do.

Legionnaires will be having food available.

Come one Come all and enjoy
